Sold Out. Upgraded. Sold Out Again

April 13, 2026

What started as “can we sell this out?” turned into… “how many times can we sell this out?”

April 10th was one of those nights you wish you could bottle up.

The Pato Gordo show sold out.
So we moved to a bigger room.
…and then we sold that out too.

Not a bad problem to have.

What made it even better? Seeing fellow comedians come out just to support. That kind of energy matters more than people realize. When comics show up for each other, it raises the whole room.

And speaking of the room… the crowd understood the assignment. They came ready to laugh, stayed fully locked in, and left with smiles, inside jokes, and yes… their very own Pato Gordo.

The show itself? Everyone delivered.

Paul absolutely did not disappoint.
He took us through stories of growing up Peruvian and somehow managed to teach life lessons about why you need to be very careful who you travel with. Equal parts hilarious and “noted for future reference.”

Ashley had one of those sets where you laugh and then go… wait.
Her take on why her youth might not have been as “golden” as she once thought hit in the best way.

Mike had the room locked in with his storytelling, sharing a perspective on the big city that only he could deliver. Let’s just say… his experiences out there hit a little different.

Betsy showed up looking like she owned the place.
Best dressed, sharp as ever, and hosted the night like a queen.

Dante kept it personal and honest, sharing stories from his upbringing that had the crowd laughing while also catching a few people off guard in the best way.

And Cody…
His story about his first time going to emergency had the room hooked from start to finish. Not where anyone expected it to go, and exactly why it worked so well.

And the cherry on top

A huge thank you to our Community Partner, Battlefield Press.

They didn’t just support the event. They helped make the night feel polished and special. From printed materials to stickers for every audience member, they showed up in a big way.

The crowd favourite?
“I support local jokes.”

Same.

Nights like this are exactly why Milton Comedy Collective exists.

Bringing people together, sharing real moments, and turning them into laughter you don’t forget.

And if April 10th proved anything…
this is only the beginning.

We Took MCC to Morning Live

April 2 2026

Very early morning, very worth it. Watch Diana and Paul on Morning Live at CHCH with Emily Vukovic sharing how Milton Comedy Collective came together, why community is at the centre of it all, and what’s coming next. Then scroll down for the full behind-the-scenes story.

Milton Comedy Collective on Morning Live at CHCH

There are early mornings… and then there are really early mornings.
This one was worth it.

The Milton Comedy Collective had the incredible opportunity to be featured on Morning Live, where Diana Barbosa and Paul Marroquin sat down with Emily Vukovic to talk all things comedy, community, and what we’re building right here in Milton.

From the moment we arrived, there was a buzz. It was early, but you wouldn’t know it from us. Ashley Mendes and Mike Fallico came along to support, and the excitement was real. Lots of laughs, lots of behind-the-scenes moments, and yes… lots of photos.

More Than Just a Comedy Show

During the segment, we had the chance to share how Milton Comedy Collective came together and what we stand for.

At our core, we’re about building community through laughter.
That means:

  • Creating shows where audiences feel like guests, not just ticket holders
  • Bringing together a mix of voices, styles, and lived experiences
  • Partnering with local businesses and organizations
  • Making space for both emerging and established comedians

It’s not just about putting on a show. It’s about creating an experience people remember.

A Big Moment for a Growing Community

Being on Morning Live was a big moment for us. Not just because it’s exciting (it is), but because it gave us the chance to highlight something bigger than any one performance.

It gave us a platform to talk about:

  • The growing comedy scene in Milton and surrounding areas
  • The importance of supporting local talent
  • How live events bring people together in a way nothing else quite does

And of course, we were able to share details about our upcoming show and invite people to come be part of it.

What’s Next

We’re just getting started.

If you’ve been to a show, you already know the energy we bring. If you haven’t yet, this is your sign. Come out, bring your friends, and experience what happens when great comics and a great crowd come together.

To everyone who tuned in, supported, and continues to show up for us, thank you. Moments like this remind us why we started.

Bringing people together one laugh at a time  — This is only the beginning

Reliving the laughter: Valentines hangover show!

Our Valentine’s Hangover show on February 19 in Milton was a huge success.
The room was packed, the laughter was nonstop, and the energy was incredible. The clip beside this text captures a moment from the Halton News coverage of the event, highlighting the kind of fun, well-produced comedy experience the Milton Comedy Collective brings to every show.

Valentine’s Hangover: A Night of Big Laughs in Milton

On February 19, the Milton Comedy Collective brought the laughs to Ned Devine’s with our Valentine’s Hangover Show, a night designed to shake off the Valentine’s Day aftermath with great comedy and even better company. The room was packed, the energy was high, and the crowd was ready to laugh.

The evening was hosted by Diana Barbosa, who kept the show moving and the audience warmed up with her sharp observations and playful crowd work. The lineup featured the full Milton Comedy Collective: Ashley Mendes, Paul Marroquin, Dante Williams, and Mike Fallico, each bringing their own unique style and perspective to the stage.

The talented Betsy Dee took the feature spot and delivered a standout set that had the audience fully locked in and laughing throughout.

Closing out the night was our headliner, Cathy Boyd, whose polished storytelling and commanding stage presence brought the show to an unforgettable finish.

A special thank you goes to our Supporting Partner, Keystone Realty Advisors, for helping make the night possible, and to Ned Devine’s for providing the perfect venue for an evening of live comedy.

The Valentine’s Hangover Show was a fantastic reminder of what the Milton Comedy Collective is all about: great comedians, great audiences, and bringing people together one laugh at a time . We can’t wait to do it again.

Stay tuned for more!
